What is the best way to send audio without bringing demagnetized or erased.?

I send you 2 mini-cassette tapes of South Florida to my brother in Nashville. There is a very emotional conversation between my mother and my grandmother (both are now deceased) I do not want to lose the audio due to X-ray machines or any other gadgets. What is the best way to do this?

Why not transform in digital format on your PC. Follw the guide online, but you will be using your mini-cassette and headphone socket rather than a standard player with RCA jacks: More simply, you will need to connect your cassette player to your PC soundcard, then play the cassette whilst recording on your PC. A step by step guide is available at: http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/diy The recording software is the key, there are free software downloads Available at: http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/downloads.php I have used 'Magix Audio Cleaning Lab Audacity' and '- Audacity is particularly popular since it is free! If you record in WAV format, expect file sizes of about 10MB per minute, or 1MB per minute for MP3 (at 128kbps). Once you have your version of digital recording on your PC, simply burn to a CD (or a burning software like Nero ..). If you use Magix Audio Cleaning, the software will burn an audio CD for you without needing additional software (if you have a CD writing drive of course!) You can also download a free PDF Step-by-step from the download page mentioned above, the guide is complete with diagrams and screenshots. Hope this helps
