The tritium  markers by each number and the hour and minute hands are made with Swiss MB Microtec tritium gas vials, thus enabling these items to stay lit continuously all night and every night without the need for a battery or a push of any button.  

Besides luminescent components, Armourlite watches are made with a shatterproof, scratch resistant high impact glass crystal. These watches also feature a double tempered stainless steel housing, and In addition to being durable and well built, these watches feature an accurate and reliable swiss movement with date function.
